ninja 650
Well I sold the Ninja 250 quite some time ago, got an FZ6R and sold that super fast. Retreated to R3 but that didn't do it for me sold that and got crazy bought latest Street Triple model. Now that bike is just insane to ride, wants to go fast. I still have it but I retreated to a new 2017 Ninja 650. It's just so Kawasaki budget bike, I love it.
In other news, I'm about to tear down my dad's Honda CB900 carbs and see if I can resolve the one that is leaking. Someone rebuilt them, but not all is well. Either it was not thoroughly done, or crap from old tank / petcock / tubing immediately wrecked the rebuild. Wow, Ninja 250 is now officially really old. You guys going to create a Ninja 400 section here? |

It's the H2 styling thing I think. Honestly I don't spend too much time staring at my bikes, I just like to ride them.
They gimped the engine a bit this year. Supposedly a bit more torque down low/mid, but lost top end for sure. They slashed 42 pounds off of it, probably to maintain insurance bracket dictated a peak power reduction, etc. You know what Kawasaki should do now? Add a third cylinder to the Ninja 400 and create a Ninja 600 triple ... |

Or make a 450 triple! That’s one of the hottest classes in AFM with disabled 4th cylinders on 600 Supersports. With 75-lbs less weight, it’ll give those bikes a run for sure!
