suspension setup guide article, Sport Rider Magazine

did a quick search, no surprise I didn't find this already up but it is probably around somewhere. Here it is regardless

http://www.sportrider.com/suspension-setup-guide

Another informative write up about adjusting suspension and what kind of feedback you might feel or should pay attention to when fine tuning

http://www.visordown.com/workshop/mo...etup/2487.html

^if link doesn't work just do a web search for, (visor down, suspension work shop) and you should be able to find it

Also, check out Dave Moss' site. Click on the free videos, and he shows some very useful things to look for. He's very knowledgeable and explains things very clearly (had him set up my suspension a couple weeks ago, and he explained it all as he went along).

One minor comment on that Sportrider article: It gives hard numbers for sag, like 30 mm or 25 mm. A better way to determine a good starting point is to find your bikes total suspension travel (usually in the 90 - 120 mm range), and use 40% of that as your baseline setting. Most sportbikes are close enough that going with 30 mm is probably ok, but it's always better to be specific to your bike. Besides, you should really look in your owner's manual to see what it says, then go out and actually measure it to see how much your bikereally has.
