It should say it on the can. Just do the math If I remember correctly, a can of seafoam cleans a gas tank that is around 10 gallons or so? maybe a little more/less. So, when I need to fill up, I would put half of it in the tank before I fill it up with gas (carry seafoam in my bagpack) and then used the rest the next time I need to fill up gas. Hope this helps

It says on the can... midst the plethora of nonsensical information on it.

Don't use Seafoam.

Use some form of fuel stabilizer.

Pee in your tank.

Everyone knows that peeing in your tank is the coolest.

"Add 1 oz. Sea Foam to each gallon of fuel"
http://www.seafoamsales.com/how-to-u...treatment.html

For a full tank that contains 18.0 L (4.8 US gal), use 140 c.c. (4.8 oz.) of Sea Foam.

Are you going to boil the crabs?

Or do you need some special shampoo for them?

Just trying to stay ahead of the game, but if you have a shampoo suggestion fire away, i always thought you guys from Call were a bit different.

On a serious note i am pretty sure i read on here that it is good to run some through every now and then, so tell me if i am wrong.

Yes, you can use it freely as a preventive thing, especially right before you plan not using the bike for some days or weeks.

I use it every three fill ups' or so.

I guess if you use these sort of things, everyone has their personal favourite fuel additive for cleaning carbs and the fuel system. I'd personally go with a product that is PEA (polyether amine) based. Since it is not solvent based like some other products, it is compatible with all fuel system materials. Its effectiveness at removing deposits has been well documented in a scientific paper by the SAE where benefits were seen not only just after the first tank of fuel but for the next 4300 KMs on average.

It's also an additive that has been approved by multiple car manufacturers to clean faulty fuel system sensors. Of course, this wouldn't apply to our Ninjas but goes to show you that it's safe enough to use on sensors in expensive vehicles such as the Corvette.

Some of the common products that contain a good amount of PEA are Techron Concentrate Plus and Gumout Regane Complete Fuel System Cleaner.

Edit: The only 3 Gumout products that contain PEA are Regane Complete Fuel System Cleaner, Regane High Mileage Fuel System Cleaner and All in One Complete fuel system cleaner. All the other Gumout products do not contain PEA.
