I want to order a Koso gauge kit for 250 plus gear indicator instead of voltmeter...just don't want to drop mega $$ and wait forever. This is one thing I hate about international order.
If vince will stock them, I'll buy 'em in a heart beat.

I agree. The two things stopping me from buying anything from Shinto is...

#1 The long wait for delivery going into the purchase.

#2 The amount of people complaining about not receiving thier order in the time frame they expected.

Nice products, but unless your counting every last dollar you spend, the price doesn't make up for the waiting on delivery. Just my opinion, and why I haven't purchased.

The wait does suck, but any issue that has come up has been resolved from what I have seen. Its a small business and and a one man run shop. they make good stuff for our bikes, and good quality from what ive seen. If people are impatient and don't want to wait, look elsewhere. . Just saying.

Yep vince you should , that would make it a lot easier for me to part with the money By the way do you know of anyone with their levers I am curious to see if they work good. Also on the bar ends do you have to have the grips as well or can you get just the bar ends. Also do you have green bar ends?

understandable:

Paul has recently consolidated all his fabrication under one roof - this will make things happen much smoother, prevent delays, etc. i anticipate this next order to go according to schedule. i'm sure there are many potential customers like yourself who feel the same way you do. i hope to earn your business in the future - thanks

i would love to stock inventory for you guys, but that takes tons of $$$$. quite a few levers have been ordered and delivered, start a thread and i'm sure people will chime in. bar ends do not require new grips. yes, green is available.

Cool, I hope things fall into place and the deliveries are rock solid. I didn't mean to sound harsh but I've been on the bad end as a customer in a couple of other industries. Thanks for the reply...

now that paul has consolidated the fabrication process he can place large orders to have readily available inventory. he has put in an order for 100 pairs of clip-ons and large fork caps, among others. group buy pricing on clip-ons for next shipment will be $110 - need at least 10 orders. kit discounts for additional items still apply.

thanks guys!

Question: I haven't really followed up on the other threads but have any of those people who ordered since you created the thread in August received their stuff yet?

majority of items from first shipment have been delivered. there were a few items that were delayed due to production issues. these items are coming with shipment #2 (which has shipped), and will be delivered to each customer by thanksgiving if not sooner. as previously stated, paul has consolidated his manufacturing to one factory and things should run much more smoothly on the supply side of things for future shipments.

thank you to everyone for your business, patience, and understanding!

Just placed an order for the rearsets.

Hoping they're better than the cheap ebay ones I purchased two years ago. <--basically if it looks ANYTHING remotely the same as the one pictured below, then they're the same ones:

The problem with these is that they flex a lot. And if you swap out the pegs with others that provide more grip the bolts tend to undo themselves; making the pegs spins freely even after applying loctite and screwing them down firmly.

I'm hoping I'll get a different experience with these which look a lot like Satos. I have Satos on my 600RR so I'll see if the quality is anything different.

nemesis,

thanks for your order. regarding the rearsets, they are essentially sato's without the logo, and brake light pressure switch. the quality is VERY high, and at half the price of the Satos, i'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase.

thanks again!

taking orders - yes

sending money before everything else is resolved - no

kill paul - don't do that, just "help" him to understand the potential this forum offers and just how big a loss it will be if things don't improve.
