I recently got the Hadron in white after it was put on closeout after the Hadron 2 came out, they also have the metal flakes in the original Hadron.

Looks good! That color combo should be pretty visible, that's for sure!

That's why I got it. Don't want any reason for people to say they didn't see me.

What do you guys think of the Bell Vortex Flying Tiger?

http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/b...g-tiger-helmet

I kinda dig it, but then again I'm a complete noob and don't even know how to ride yet (I am taking the MSF course this weekend though, and thanks to this site found out about the great iron pony deals and ordered some A* smx 5 boots and sm1 gloves. Trying to decide between the A* t gp r air jacket vs the dainese shotgun now).

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely do that and will probably just buy it from the store to give the locals some business. I was attracted to the Vortex line based on reviews / bang for the buck but am by no means attached to them. My main priorities are definitely safety and comfort.

@cbdallas That actually looks like a modified version of my helmet (earlier in the thread). No idea where it would come from tho... Its probably a power ranger prototype.

Also, I really really like the paint on this EXO500. Big fan of Scorpion Helmets. My EXO400 is top notch. Just might need to find an excuse to buy one of these sweet oil paint schemes if the EXO500 fits me. What's the difference between this and the EXO400 besides weight?

I LOVE my helmet! Not sure if the 400 has the Airfit technology that has cheek pads that inflate for a better fit. Also, the 500 has a internal retractable visor. Other than that I'm not sure.

Edit: I'm pretty sure the revzilla video said my helmet weighs 3.6lbs. Not sure what the 400 is.

I'd like to add this, if you're going from a EXO400 to a EXO500, you might want to go a size up. I myself went from a 400 to a 500 and I needed to go from a L in the 400 to a XL in the 500. EXO500 is also my favorite helmet that I own. I have a FS-15 and its almost never use to because the 500 is just so awesome. Only thing that might make me switch from my EXO500 is a EXO1000 or EXO1100

Are you talking about Suomy? Yeah, it's a great Italian brand. Max Biaggi wears Suomy and he races in WSBK.

Nice helmet. Reminescent of Nicky Hayden's current Arai Helmet.

Suomy is a great brand.

I'm guessing outward visibility is on the low end of their priorities…

@THE BIG SITT

A lot of stuff is on the low end of their priorities. They are not known for safety or features. But damn their helmets look good.!
