Hangers for Leathers
This is a seemingly simple problem without an obvious solution. I have been through three different hangers for my AGV Sport leather pants. I've looked at all kinds of places for a heavy duty hanger with no success. My first thought was the large wooden hangers, but they are finger jointed and will separate there. Plastic just breaks eventually. How do you guys store your leather pants?

My AGV sport has been through its fair share of hangers (weirdly, most of my hangers snap in the dead of the night ), but I've finally gotten lucky I suppose because the one that hangs it has lasted more than a month. It's a tough plastic one that came with a leather jacket I bought (non motorcycling)...maybe you should check leather jacket shops because leathers are heavier than regular clothing...

Go to your local Cycle Gear. They usually have more than enough hangars and will give you some. Plus, they have hangars for hanging gear.

I've been using IKEA wooden hangers for years, havn't had one snap yet. BTW I hang the full 2-piece suit on one of them, wet or dry

Let me know if you want me to weld you up a couple hangars from some 3/8 fuel line. I can even brace and reinforce any areas you think might need it

I use the 21st century version of the old wooden hangers... big plastic hangers made in approximately the same shape.

Yeah, those beefy plastic hangers are tough! And they don’t soak in sweat like wooden ones and get all mildewy or smelly!

I just cut hangers from 3/4 inch plywood, never had a problem. Also 3D print my helmet hooks.
