And for comparison it was $850 for the ocean freight. It was $600 for the dhl.

Got my packages. UPS dropped them over my patio fence when I wasn't home.
I'm guessing the swingarm cover isn't supposed to look like that. I hear a bit of popping when I flex it almost straight but I'm too scared that it'll crack if I go all the way. Would a hair dryer help? Heat gun (been planning to buy one)? Oh! And what is that single L-bracket for? The bolt/screw was found stuck in some taped foam (not attached to any part) and it threads in but it wasn't in originally. |

L bracket is for the brake line hold down mount.
You can use some heat on it to make it flex a little more. I test fit it on my bike to make sure it would fit prior to sending it. If it snaps to hell let me know and I will take care of it. Other covers are in and I will be invoicing tonight.

Thanks! Now, how do I use it? Sorry to make you hold my hand on this, but I watched the installation videos and all I saw regarding the brake line was the use of some zip ties after flipping the calipers. Now, the two-holed L-bracket + U-clip was loose in the box while the bolt I threaded through it was wrapped in foam and tape. Do they belong together?
I got the heat gun and plan to install the cover part tomorrow. I don't expect a problem. Thanks! |

Well, I still don't know what to do with the brake line holder. The installation videos made it look like I didn't have to do anything there but I see now that it was not a stock bike. I had to turn the fitting on the frame side a bit so that it wouldn't touch the hugger and there didn't seem to be a way to mount or get rid of the brake line holder. Where am I supposed to use the L-bracket+U-clip?
I'm not comfortable with brake line maintenance so I am very hesitant to disconnect anything there and get air in the system. If there's a way to mount the brake line holder somewhere with the L-bracket + U-clip, I'd love to hear it! I don't want to just cut it off until I hear whether or not there is a proper way to mount it. It sure made chain adjustment a pain, especially because I lost the ability to use my spool stand half-way through the job (going to buy paddle adapters today). |

You actually remove the brake line holder. bolt the l bracket where the holder use to reside. And flip the brake line loop. Nothing needs to be disconnected.
ALL Invoices are out. If you didn't get one pm me.

Edit: I guess I'll answer my own question: By manning up and learning how to handle fluids and the braking system. I had to bend up the loops to get the wire out but cutting is also an option. |
