GMR w/ ARC 3-13-10
Hit up GMR with the Asian Riders Club today! Had a good time getting out to ride and meeting lots of new people. Besides Leo, all of their bikes were much nicer than mine! But my little ninja held it's own! Little cloudy and cool but then I'll be complaining when it's too hot and sunny so who could ask for more.
Gotta love riding back there. I'll be relocating soon so probably won't get to ride GMR as much as usual. I cut loose a little bit. Leaned more than ever before yet again Here's some pics and a couple videos. I bet Leo has some media too. Good to meet ya bro and I'm sure I'll meet up with you guys again for another ride soon. I put 300mi on my bike today! I'm wiped. I had to go to LA and back home really quick after riding GMR Here's after I arrived and gassed up. Many more bikes came after this though. Droolage (damn I miss my 600's) First rest stop San Gabriel River. I have caught fish in there before.. down stream some. Here's what we saw when we got up to the top of the GMR/GRR/East fork crossing. Bikes everywhere! Here's some video of me following Mike (I think that was his name) up the hill on his GSXR1000. That was a damn sweet bike! Agh!

More pics of todays GMR ride! Met at the Shell Gas Station on Azusa, rode up to the end of Azusa Canyon and back down. Took a break and went up Glendora Mt. Road to the top. So much fun! And got to meet Casey. He is a awesome ninjette rider with a beautiful bike!
And Adrian we waited for you! Thanks for letting us play in your backyard! PICS IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER: |

Three Ducatis, a Repsol Honda (among a few other CBRs), a ZX-6R, a GSXR or two, an R1, AND 2 little ninjettes? That is way too much beauty in one place. How cool. Looks like a great ride.
You got pretty low on a lot of those turns. Is that the sound of scraping at 3:15 in the second downhill video? |

It was weird today. The sliders felt like sticks of butter I didn't really even feel/hear them. I guess I was touching down really smooth or they are all broken in or something. For a second I thought I was sliding on bare leather but I look down and I was on the puck. Pretty sure I did have a knee down at 3:15 in video two, along with most of the rest of the corners on that run with considerable lean.
Crazy how you can steer and lean the bike with a knee on the ground still. I actually picked up some marks on my exhaust Oh totally drooling all over all the bikes. I will have another GSXR one day for sure. Sorry we missed you Adrian. We'll see ya soon!

Nice video dude. Looks like you were heading up.
The turnout to the right at 2:43 in your video is where I took the picture below. I love the one lane side. It's crazy back and fourth left and right for 12mi. Lots of the corners are open still so you can have a little fun.
