HMF Exhaust...shimmed needles...and more
KC/Ninja250 (ex Ninjette member) came by my pad today and REVAMPED my baby....
oil change/Shell Rotella Synthetic 5w 20 ($19 gallon Wally-Mart) oil filter/KN 401 ($8) front brake pades= EBC HH ($33) rear brake pads = EBC HH bled front and rears installed HMF Slip On Exhaust ($230 free shipping) shimmed 2 needles since the bike was running lean after exhaust was installed installed left side front blinker ($40) adjusted clutch and brake levers Holy Sh$#$$# what a difference KC made to my ride....the powerband is incredible and the bike is like an entire other animal. The brakes are tip top and the sound of this exhaust is amazing. In the end I had to force some cash into this guy's hand as he was here for a few hours- but what a great time we had to see the transformation.  I rode her up to tackle some twisties. What I love best is the sound this exhaust makes---it's sick and people are turning heads as it is deeeep and loud. Hope my neighbors won't mind!  In the twisties I love the extra boost I now have. I feel the power all the way through the powerband- as before this bike was factory lean and lazy. Now pepy and quick. The 250 just got much much.... MORE FUN TO RIDE- thanks KC.  |
