Idle High, Adjuster All the Way Down
Hello,
Just installed the R77 full exhaust. Sounds so nice! I am noticing that the idle is a bit high ~1700/1800 rpms. First thing I did was check the adjuster, but it isn't even in contact. I know this bike is EFI, with an ecu and all that. What would be the first order of business to drop this idle? |

Check adjustment of TPS. Is there an idle switch and is it activated at idle/closed-throttle position.
Check cable housing adjuster. Might be too tight and cable is keeping throttle plate open. Also check throttle boot for leaks after throttle body. |

The 300 has a high-idle mode for warm-up, kinda-sorta like an auto-choke. Does it ever settle down? Mine runs idle around 1.4-1.6 after ten to fifteen minutes of riding, but she can hit 2k+ right at start from cold.
