Fancy Foot Works By R&G Racing

Crash protection specialist launches adjustable rearset range.R&G Racing has launched its first range of motorcycle rearsets. The world leader of motorcycle crash protection developed the replacement foot controls on track during 2010 to offer a huge spectrum of alteration. Adjustable brake and gear lever positions are accompanied by a choice of 24 different mounting holes to fine tune the footpeg location. The level of adjustability not only benefits racers and track day goers with increased ground clearance; this provision also offers road riders a broader scope to perfectly tailor the riding position. Crafted from pure 6082 aluminium, the R&G Rearsets can be specified with a race or upside down shift and are backed up by a full range of spare parts. The rearsets are available with an additional option of carbon fibre heel plates. Beginning with a fitment for the BMW S1000RR, a full range for popular sportsbikes will follow shortly. The launch of the new R&G rearsets is part of a massive and ongoing line in new product development. Earlier this year, R&G Racing, the only manufacturer of crash protection that qualifies for insurance discounts in the UK introduced a range of huggers, chain guards and Shocktubes, along with an improved range of braided brake lines and the introduction of its crash protector Scrappage Scheme.
