I'm guilty as well.

I also have hard time leaving the shop after I drop my bike off. I usualy stay there looking at accesories for my bike. I guess so I'll have a welcome home present for her when she gets out.

When she gets out though watch out....I ride the hell out of her and get her all hot.

This will sound bad, but please don't take it out of context...

You might just be a motorcyclist if you... don't acknowledge it's raining until your undies get wet.

I am certainly guilty of this

Friends always say that I am crazy, stupid, etc etc when I ride to work in the poring rain. Sure I might need to change my socks, but that just doesn't worry me.

New survey states guys would rather give up wife or girlfriend before giving up motorcycle. I knew this all along.

All the girls on here don't have to worry since they all have their own bikes.

If you are late to work because you are waiting for it to stop raining so you can ride to work without rain gear.

Guilty of this yesterday. Only 15 mins late. Left rain gear at work.

figure the automotive oil you are looking at in the store is probably as good as the motorcycle specific oil costing 4 times as much, but in fear you run out of the store with the motorcycle specific oil

Greg, I hear they are actually two different animals.

Although, I used Delvac diesel synthetic in all my bikes (even Harleys) for years before Mobile 1 started making motorcycle oil.

I've never cooked a clutch in my life (bike or car). My buddy Dale Quarterley cooked the clutch in my Harris endurance bike (he was my teammate) at Willow. It's funny it let go while I was on the bike. It's still his fault and I'm sticking to that story. We were using Spectro at that time. He also had a motor let go at Loudon while leading a superbike race (with Motul oil).

I have stock in Exxon/Mobile. I can't use anything else.

Im running Mobil 1 right now. @$10.00 a quart it sure is espensive!! It better be made to last. Dont know how long to leave it in though? I guess if it stays golden leave it in huh?

No clutch issues at all. Bike likes it = I like it.
Rotela has alot of fans around here too.

You might be a motorcyclist if:
You always have a little box of earplugs and a tire gauge on you.

Spending quality time with your baby means giving your bike a wash, wax and a chain job.

I wouldn't judge the oil by the color. Most oil turns brown/black pretty quick, but is still good. A better gauge is the type of driving and how many miles you have.

Still, there's lots of controversy on oil I suggest reading up and making your own conclusions.
