Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner on sale
Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner - 20 oz.
I've seen this recommended around here as an alternative to SeaFoam, and heard good things about it elsewhere online. It's normally about $13 (Amazon or locally). It's currently on sale for $7, plus there's a $2 coupon to click on the page and free shipping with Prime, so $5 to your door. You can only apply the coupon once per order, but I was able to place a second order with the coupon again.

Awesome savings, I ordered 3. Had to make 3 separate orders, but hey for saving that much $$ it's worth a few clicks.
Thanks again @InvisiBill

This is all I use. 1oz per gallon every spring in the cars and bikes.
Keeps the carbs/injectors clean but also removes deposits from the valves and combustion chamber. A Mechanical Engineer friend that works in automotive emissions testing recommended it years ago. He was impressed with how quickly it removed deposits. I just stocked up recently when O'Reilly Auto Parts had buy-one-get-one free for $13 |

Nice, I usually have seafoam on hand, but this will be just as good, and a much better price. Thanks!

It's designed by the folks down the hall from my better half. It's not diluted compared to what it was before; the formula changes over time, sometimes significantly. Each time it is changed, is due to research showing the new formula will provide more benefit to the current mix of engines on the road.
The Techron that is included within the fuel itself is in fact the same Techron you can buy in the bottle; they are updated at the same time, in the same way. But the amount of the additive that just comes in the different fuel grades is way, way less than a user gets when they dump a bottle of the add-in into their tank. Obviously the exact ratio depends on how much fuel is in the tank already. But it's not a small difference, it's 50:1, 100:1, or more.

Not at all. If you use decent gasoline and take car of your car (oil changes, air filter changes, etc.), the amount of additive in the normal gasoline may be all you'd ever need for the life of the car. If instead there have been more than a few instances of contaminated gas, limited additives, etc., coupled with less diligent maintenance, it's possible that there will be more buildup inside the engine. Buildup that then just going back to high quality gas (whether Chevron, Shell, whatever), isn't enough to clean it out. In that case, much higher concentrations of the additive package may be useful. But if it gets too bad, even that won't help much.
