I remember watching that and thinking that dicing 5 wide into turn 1 was cool and a little scary all at the same time.

Hey, there are as many people in the stands as there are motorcycles on the track!

You would think that there would be more people considering how the Speed TV announcers kept saying that the 200 was the premier motorcycle event in the U.S.

However, it was a fun race to watch.

It was very cold! This is Florida. People don't go out in the cold, not like they do in other parts of the country.

How bout the track med personnel (?) in those white down jackets. I thought they were volunteer med staff at Everest's base camp. That said, that 200 race was a thrill to watch, the close racing, the horrible pit for Aquino, the GSXR that was lighting up the night with flames out the pipe. The first 1000 was ok, the second was cool with the finish line pass. Supercross had a gnarly and fast track, but Villipoto led from gate to finish. No one challenged him for the lead. Hopefully Langston wasn't serverly hurt in his crash that red flagged the SX (450) class.
