2012 Utah 1088 rally - 570 miles in <12 hours

On June 23, 2012, I competed in the legendary Utah 1088 endurance rally (12-hour version) on my 2010 Ninjette. It was the second year I entered - the first year I won! I rode 570 miles in 11:12 hours that day in crazy wind and ridiculous temperatures.

Here is my ride report for the 2012 event:
http://blog.agilepooch.com/2012/10/2...ng-this-again/

If you want to read about my debut in the 2011 event and the preparation leading up to that, here it is:
http://blog.agilepooch.com/2011/09/0...12-hour-rally/

And finally, I'm issuing a challenge to all Ninjette.org members to enter the 2013 event. The Utah 1088 has been running for 21 years, and 2013 will be the last one. I would love to see a whole cadre of Ninjette's entered to show the 1000+cc rally guys what we can do.

Entry information at: http://www.utah1088.com/2013%201088%20Entry.pdf

Regards,

Holly

Congrats on the rally! I've been doing the www.cal24.com for many years, but haven't made it out to the 1088 yet. I got suckered into the Iron Butt Rally for July 2013, so am working my way through that planning at the moment. I'm sorry to say I haven't taken a 250 on these long-distance rallies, so more power to those who can do it successfully!

Thanks, Alex. My husband Rich Daniels has done the Cal24 for years, and in fact, one of my shakedown rides for 2011 ended at the banquet in San Jose. Maybe I saw you there.

Good luck on the Butt!

Yup - I think we did meet. My wife brought one of the little monsters along to the banquet, as they always enjoy it as well.
