Helmet storage
Hi everyone,
I noticed my ninja 250 2008+ model has some hangars under the seat to stow your helmet, how does one keep the helmet on those little hangars? How come i see some people able to ride their bike with a spare helmet hanging on the side of their bike? aside from a helmet bag i can strap on, is there any other options for storing/stowing a second helmet, especially when i go to pick up my girlfriend? thanks in advance |

Remove the seat and hook the D-rings on your helmet around the little metal piece. Replace seat and it should look like this.
This link has a couple more pics. http://www.kawiforums.com/ninja-250r...lmet-hook.html

the hooks on the bottom of the bike are to secure straps to. not to hang things from. the helmet locks are under the rear seat.

On only using the big "D" hook, vs both of them.

Other options are expandable backpacks or tank bag for helmet, Pannier bags or M/C cargo net.
