Need 3mm washers for some shimming? Come get'm
So, to keep the story short, I went looking for 3mm washers and had to special order them because my area sucks. Guy asked me if I wanted a few or the whole bag of 100. I figure, it's only a couple bucks so I said 100.
Now... I am going to have like 90 extra washers.. and I had them order stainless steel instead of regular steel, though I don't think it mattered. SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) me and you can get however many you need for your shimming job PM me and I can give you my address there. Inside the SASE, please have a piece of paper that says how many u want. seems like everyone is asking for 6, so if you don't specify, i will be sending 6 *edited* washers are in

I was wondering how I was going to get rid of so many! Sucked that the shipping I am paying for to the hardware store is $6 alone while the washers were only like $1 haha
Glad to help out others though, sure beats driving around for an hour looking around for these damn things!

I had no problem finding washers locally. I took a trip to the local Lowe's and they had #4 washers in stock. They come in a little bag and its about 4 to a bag. I bought two bags, just in case, but I haven't gotten around to shimming yet.
I can take a pic of the little bag they come in if anyone is interested. I was shocked how tiny they are, but I guess it makes since they need to be so small since the needles are so little. |

I didn't try the metric, but in the American standard section they had #4, but I'm sure every location can vary.

Oh Wow! Just checked his activity and he hasn't logged in since April. Guess I'm gonna have to go to the hardware store.
