Need some killer Gloves under 40$ shipped

so i am needing some gloves, i ride now with some crappy mechanix gloves. i dont want to spend above 40 shipped, i want some with some knuckles and pads. ill post some pics of styles i like to give yall an idea and ill post some pics and prices of a few i found so far.

now i know some of those are super expensive, i just posted them to show yall the styles i like. i need em in Black green or Gray[/COLOR] any combination of those colors works for me.

Naked Cowhide Leather Gloves = $17 shipped


Alpine star = $12.30 shipped


Generic gloves = $8 shipped

I saw the red pair before, they are sold out of my size in black (large)

And CL in my area doenst have any gloves up on it atm, been checking a few times a day.

I like those shift ones, I think they are in the lead

They have gloves tons check em out in line.
Also I would go full gauntlet cover your wrist. In a crash your sleeve can roll up..seen it happen not pretty.

From my shopping experience the difference of protection between 40$ gloves and 65$ gloves is so big it is well worth the wait..

These will give a very good protection at a very decent price:

If not, I read some old detailed topics on here about BILT and Sedici *I think?* are made in the same factory as A*. The only difference between them is BILT and Sedici use a slightly lower quality cowhide for half the price. I can't garantee it's true because i'm not 100% myself but they might worth a try if you really can't afford more then 40$ shipped:

They were $35 when I got them at the store in a open bin sale. If there's a Cycle Gear store around you check it out. They've got a great return policy also if you're iffy about their quality. I ride with both their BILT jacket and gloves.

I second the advice to buy used.

A decent pair makes a HUGE difference in terms of comfort, feel, and protection. (why does this feel like a condom ad)

But seriously, look around and get a good pair that will last you protect your hands without being uncomfortable.

Gloves are important because your first reflex in a fall will be to put them in front. IMO every textile/mesh gloves are useless. Look for full leather, with decent knuckle protection AND great palm protection.

just save that $40 and invest is some batter gloves later, i tried to be cheap at first and now im buying a second pair of gloves and boots

yeah i was about to keep looking then i saw that they had double layered leather on important parts of the gloves. so i tried to find them cheaper then 60 shipped and was able to find them 50 shipped, 10$ over budget, i can live with that :P

Iron pony motorsports. They sell alpinstars sp8 gloves for right around $40. They're good leather gauntlet gloves that are very flexible and thick, albeit a little warm. Idgaf about that though; they're a great quality glove for that price. I used them at the track and ditched my mesh gloves for them. My mesh gloves are right where they're a good level or protection; with my mountain bike.

Have you made that comparison in person? IMO there is a huge difference in quality and it's not just the leather.

No not at all, i've just read a few threads about a guy who apparently called and visited the factories in pakistan. It might be a complete lie or very true, I don't know. Glad OP chose to spend an extra 10$ for the teknic's though
