@krolinked

Bit of an old thread, but I was curious on how tight this suit fit you. I am the same height @ ~150lbs and what may be considered an "athletic" build.

I like a tight fit but I don't want it to cut off circulation or something lol.

It is a SNUG fit. For your weight/Build I would suggest you go up one size at least. I cant stand up straight comfortably in mine and I'm 5'8 120 lbs

Yeah im 5'6'' and about 145lbs and I fit in a size 40 with back protector and its a little tight. Without back protector its about perfect. I would suggest the guy thats 5.8 and 150 to go up a few sizes

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback!

I was looking at the Alpinestars sizing chart and thought a 46 would fit me perfectly until I realized the sizing was describing MAX sizes -- so it would probably be uncomfortably tight.

48 (euro) looks like the way to go.

I'm 5'9", 145lbs and have been wearing size 40 US / 50 Euro Spid 2 piece leathers for years. Be aware that many suits fit differently, even within the same brand. Leather will often stretch some too. Most people I see in leathers are wearing at least one size too big. You should not be able to fit a hoodie under your leather jacket! All I wear is a Joe Rocket one piece inner suit (like long underwear) inside my leathers. It keeps me cool on hot days, warmer on cold days, and makes it much easier to put on and remove my leathers, plus keeps them smelling better.

Nice Alpinestars suit. Good luck with the sale

So I just picked up this exact suit in size 48 from a local guy, via Craiglist, and man it fits like a glove and looks awesome.

46 would have definitely been too small for me I think. 48 is a pretty dang snug fit but I like it like that anyways, plus it's still not broken in.

Definitely recommend wearing some sort of "compression" shirt/pants like Under Armour as it makes it feel much nicer.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to ride in 'em.

What's the inseam for the pants?

My sz 46 A* pref leather jacket fits me perfectly, but I'm kind of short. Afraid the length of the full suit will be too long.

I'm 5'5, 132lbs.

This suit should fit you fine, but may be a little snug with and without a back protector in place.
