OEM Tool Kit - What's in it

Well....just like the title says. The used bike I bought didn't have the tool kit or owner's manual with it.

What is in the tool kit? I just want to know so I can either go and pick up the tools individually or if it's worth picking up the kit at the local dealer.

Thanks!

Just a couple of cheap wrenches, pliers, allen keys and screwdrivers. The only worthwhile thing in there is the wrench used to adjust the rear spring preload.

A small socket set, allen key set, and #2 phillips screwdriver is probably all you need to strip the bike down as far as you'd ever want to go.

There's also a tool in the kit that is used to remove the spark plugs. Makes life a lot easier if/when you need to get to them.

Mine came with a cheap plastic tire pressure gauge.

Not related to your topic but I see you have a Lancer GTS from your avatar pic. I see you have blackened the front end what other mods you do?

I got an 08 gts blue as well.

Thanks for the reply guys, so I guess I'll be better off putting together a little kit myself with some spare tools from around the garage.

@Pudge Ate Me: Yeah, it's an 09 GTS. Nothing much, mostly cosmetic things. I did a Bi-Xenon projector retrofit, a set of dark bronze wheels for the summer and a takeda SRI. I take possession of my bike on May 5th, so until then I needed something for an avatar pic.

I've used the included pipe handle and spanner or axel-nut wrench to get leverage with allen keys at an angle. I like the kit, thought the screwdrivers are completely useless (can't even remove the side covers).
