86 ninja 2010 ninja 250 compare

I was wondering why does the 2010 ninja 250
Seem like a smoother ride compare to my 86 ninja 250
I love my 86 ninja 250
Just curious..

By smoother ride you simply talking how the suspension feels or how the engine feels or both?

I would assume a combination of the suspension being a little better, maybe settings closer to what your weight requires. Aren't the wheels smaller on the pregen as well? larger wheels tend to roll over bumps a little better, and maybe tires play a roll as well, not sure what the tire selection for the pregen looks like compared to the new gens and what you are running?

I have no idea but maybe the chassis is a little more flexy? I would think the new gen would have a little stiffer chassis though so that doesn't make sense, at least I don't think so

I don't think I'm a lot dumber than you thought that I think that I thought I was once.
