Oil pressure light question...

Hi all,

Sorry for the silly question....but should the oil pressure light be turning on when I start my bike initially (it goes off after a few seconds)? Is that normal?

Yes, that is normal. Anything longer than a few seconds is bad and the bike should immediately be turned off

Awesome. Thank you so much. I thought I was seeing things....my bike recently got serviced...and go figure, the day after, it got knocked over on the street by some A-Hole. Everything was fine, aside from the left blinker. I just got concerned for a sec and couldn't remember what was "normal".

Yeah this happens cause all the oil rushes to the front because of the momentum of the breaking is throwing it foward.
