I have a "degree shelf" in my office where I put my degrees/certificates/awards. I have an empty spot there for my next degree, and until then I keep my helmet there.

Wish I had my own desk! Leave it in the break room on the top of the lockers. I'm a little OCD so it kind of bothers me. I don't like people messing with it since my helmet isn't the only thing that gets left up there. I'm always careful of it but i've noticed white paint scuffs on it from the wall behind the lockers. I know for a fact anytime I've ever placed it up there it never touched the wall. It's an HJC but still. If I had an Shoei or something similar I'd probably consider not riding at work at all just because I'd want a safe place to store it for 8 hours. I know these bozos think that because it's a crash helmet, that it should be able to take abuse. Too bad it's the complete opposite. Not to mention I've seen people carelessly handle helmets and let the shield bang against something. How would you like it if i chipped up your windshield!!!

That's messed up! I would like to think the guys I work with wouldn't do that but no one has respect for other people's property. I would be fliping out if someone messed with minn and left any marks on it. Too bad you can't fit it IN the locker! The ones we have a are big enough that I cold if I needed to.

I have 2 desks in my office, but really only use one of them, so my helmet goes on the other... And I put up a couple of those 3M taped hooks on the wall to hold my jacket and backpack... Works pretty well!

I'm way too paranoid of bugs or spiders getting in my hemet.
if i'm just running into the store or something i'll leave it on the bike. Not for 8+ hours though. |
