500 miles
Now that I put my first 500 miles on my new 04, I have noticed a couple of things that I would like to fix.
1. The long throttle travel...I searched the forum and found several fixes like zip ties and pvc pipe but what if I'd just rather replace the throttle tube? someone mentioned R6 tube but I'm not sure of what year? I want absolutely no drag on the return and the home fixes are more risky that way...at least with me doing them! 2. The seat could be about 3 inches higher as I'm 6'1". Any ideas on best option there? Thanks for all the great info so far. PS Ordered an Area-P and some springs and emulators and can't wait to play with those (great deal Area-P now). The Hagon shock was a massive improvement. Mounting some Sport demons this week because the OEMs didn't do well with their long storage. Jetting will go with exhaust as well woo hoo! Just can't leave it alone

Sounds like it's coming together! You'll love the new tires, and the AreaP is going to sound pretty sweet. Seen a number of mods to lower the seat, but none as of yet with a higher seat...

Let me know if you hear anything or maybe just really firm seat foam would help?

can't stop
Once the bike was apart to do the fork springs I thought emulators. Then I thought pipe and jets and pods. Then I thought oil and collant change. Then I thought "what the heck I can do the valves!"
The Triumph looks on, embarrassed by the naked ninja!

i found a guy selling a ninja with the "kyle racing quick turn throttle". haven't tried it, don't know if you have to modify it to fit but it sounds like it's a possibility.
