So I was thinking more about this today, I was wondering how a 2008 blue would look with kawi green decals and maybe a touch of black… like black as a border to the green. Not so much that it overtakes the green, but enough that it can be seen if looking. So if anyone… ahem Vince… would photoshop that, I'd greatly appreciate it

Hey Ive got two request for you. These are concepts im ACTUALLY thinking about painting my bike as well.

1. Grabber blue, bike with the same blue wheels, and one with just the black wheels...

2. flat black bike with neon green accents and wheels.

Can someone please photoshop a 250R with a green tank & green upper cowl, but the fairings are black? Also, the rims are black with a green stripe, like my 2011 SE has.

You should probably add a green seat so the tank won't stick out so much.

^^^Idk yet. I'm just trying to see if I should buy some black fairings because they'll be nearly $300 cheaper than buying a 2011 SE fairing.

I'm also considering just ordering the '08 green fairings & transforming my bike into an '08.

the '08 green and the '11 green are a slightly different green

Yep. I love the paint scheme of my 2011 SE (I see you've got the same bike!

), but the damn fairing is too expensive! I just want to replace it because it's been long enough now since the bike got damaged.
The crash happened on May 7th of this year, btw. I wasn't a member of this site at the time, so I didn't post about it.

Yep. The 2012 Candy Lime Green is different but not the prior years.

Did you consider the eBay/Chinese fairings? Unlike the other colors, you wouldn't have to worry about it being the right or wrong color (it's blue, but WHICH blue?! will it even match the tank on any of the blue models?).

I've heard nothing but awful things about the Chinese fairings. People say they crack easily, look very cheap, sometimes need to be cut with a dremel to fit on the bike, etc. I wish they weren't so cheap in build quality because I've seen pics of some on eBay that look sweet!
BTW, good luck finding those Chinese fairings that color match. None of them do from what I understand. Even their black fairings look like an entirely different colored black.

Well, even Kawasaki has different blacks through the years, so one could still wonder if it was simply the "wrong black." There is no "wrong Kawi green" and any difference from the tank could be explained by it being metal and everything else being plastic. Heck, it would be a "balanced difference" regardless. I certainly wouldn't care. It's not at all like their other unique colors being deceptively shown with a matching tank (the least they could do is include a tank cover "fairing" too!).
