Just a thought - we do this on our regional forum. To keep cheaters from doing their thing, we require pictures of the ODO, along with a special pre-determined word to make sure the starting and ending mileages are of the same bike, year, etc.... Not saying anybody is dishonest here, but it sucks when claims can't be substantiated and some noob pipes up right before 2013 and is like: "yo hizzle, I gots like 50-gabijilion milez on the wheels, I win mofo?!"

Yeah, those are kms spooph, figured everyone would know it when they seen 200 on the speedo

Totally agree with Ian, most of us canuks only have a 5-6 month riding season and some years even that is pushing it. Anyway the year will tell.

Well finally got off my ass to take pic 5 min ago only thing i had to show date was a flyer that show sales for this week with date on jan 2012.

so at the end of riding season one for us canuks and one for usa.Or we could say til oct 31st then the rest til dec 31.

I'm planning on riding about 18,000 miles this year, including a 2K mile summer road trip and some shorter 250 mile rides. However, I don't think I have any dog in this hunt so won't officially enter.

No lol post what your at now then at the end of 2012 subtract what you have.This will give you what you rode.

I started with 21350 so if I am at 32350 at Dec 31 2012 that means I did 11000 which is what will be counted

This was taken a few minutes ago, and I know I've ridden more than 26 miles since the 1st, but I'll just say 2,700 to keep the math easy for me at the end of the year.
