Group Buy: Driven Clip Ons!! From Bohemian Racing
These are direct competitors to the Wood craft clipons with more features then the WC, the biggest is adjustable angles (take a look at the pics)! They mount under the tripple tree just like the WC. These go for $180 plus shipping. He is offering $150 for socal residence shipped and $155 shipped for everyone else!
They come in Black or Titanium! Lets start a list we need 10 people, if we get 15 I'm going to negotiate a lower price Dennis is a great guy over at Bohemian, and the last group buy finished in less then a week with 11 people, it took only 2 days for me to get my rearsets. Pretty darn impressive 1. Kevin2109 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

How much of a pain are these to install? I like how the woodcrafts come in separate pieces so you can just slap them on.

How does the clearance of these compare to the woodcraft clipons when the bars are turned the full way? Any photos of how much clearance you get to the tank and the front of the bike?

Also, are replacement parts available? If so, what are the costs?
That's what I like about the WC is that I can get replacements in VERY SHORT period of time. |

He said there just plastic caps. They work the same way the WC work. You can add basically any bar end with them
From there website "New 37mm riser clip ons with a fixed 2 5/8 inch rise and adjustable bar angle. All of our clamps are machined here in the USA from only the finest 7075 aluminum for added strength and durability. Each side allows for up to 10° of adjustment and can be finely tuned using our precision laser marks. Available in either a black or titanium gray anodized finish. Each set comes with plastic bar end sliders already installed. Replacement bars and all hardware is readily available." There actually $190 msrp

Returning noob returning with "I still have no idea what I'm doing or why I'm even allowed on a motorcycle and I should do research myself but asking you guys is easier" question.
So what exactly are clip-ons? What do they replace, why do I want them, what are the benefits/cons? |

Lots of threads talking about this. It lowers your handle bars. The clipons replace your bars, look at the pictures to figure out how they work. Its more comfortable for most because it stretches your arms out, instead of cramping them. Also better for racing because you have a sportier stance

Interesting.... going to find out if there is more info on adjust-ability and pictures on them.
The woodcrafts are race proven and there is something to be said about that. |

Its basically the same as the weeodcraft, with more adjustment. No you don't have to drop the front end at all. Unless you want to

no, but pretty close. i got my woodcraft from Richard (he's a member here) at hotmotostore.com for $162 shipped. you can buy regular WC clip-ons for less, but if they aren't made for the 250R (w/riser), then you will have clearance issues. i like my WC's, but haven't tried the driven, or heard much about them. might be worth it for the adjust-ability if that makes a big difference at all.

I am just not sure how much of that adjustment angle you could use though. With the WC there isn't much room either way for a different angle if you could move them around. Although if I had known about these I would have tried them instead just to see.

So is this Group Buy a bust? Would it be better to try and go for the WC? The driven's look to be a better product with more adjust ability
