Ride along from Northern, DE To OC MD Aug 25th

Filled the tank a good bit today. Got home and put the bike on the kickstand.... Fuel starts leaking.. Wouldn't you of guessed it..... Previous sober I guessed decided to put on some nice long bolts through the upper tank hole. For some quick steel shoved into it and sealed around the hole. I think it will be ok well know tomorrow!

Weathers suppose to be nice all week. Weekend looks good too.

don't feel bad, my bike is chewed up, probably looks worse than yours haha

My bike looks like crap as well. I think if we get all the bikes together, we might come out with one good bike!

i have ridden with a hangover, and i have to say that it's probably just as bad as riding drunk (which i (edit) WONT do EVER, not a drop of it). I rode hungover once a few months ago and no longer do it, it is very scary...I couldn't pay attention as well and noticed I was just slower all around.

Jon I haven't ridden with a group either, just a single person. This should be interesting..haha

Group riding is easy. Just follow the rules below:

• Everyone follows in a staggered formation, in one lane, where you don not leave enough room for a car to wedge in between you and the other riders
• No passing another motorcyclist in the same lane
• Be mindful that there are other bikes behind/front/next to you
• No stunting
• DO NOT STARE AT THE BRAKE LIGHTS OF THE OTHER RIDERS, PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING AROUND YOU
• stay in lane

There are more rules, but I think you get the idea. If not, I can elaborate more.

Yup! I'll bring a usb charger for it to so when we stop to eat or whatever, I can have juice for the beach and the ride back!

I tried to make shift a cam to my helmet and it would've worked but the cam doesn't work unless the screen is up sucks

If we do rt1 through doesn't it take us through all the DE beaches? Meaning tons of traffic? I'm down either way but I know it will e Saturday labor day weekend.

I'll throw the slr in the girlfriends car shell be following us maybe she can snap a few if she brings a passenger.

there's one i see on google maps that we can take, however itll increase our ride time a little bit..so if you want to get breakfast too you'd need to get here earlier i'd suppose. AND i won't call it TWISTY because it's not like the mountain roads we have around carlisle, but for the area I'd say it's decent, albeit short.

on the way back..we can hit many more roads since we won't have as much of a time constraint (beyond it getting dark). I will scout some roads tonight and see if I find any good ones on the route back.

I apologize we have limited time constraints. @rmorse has to be in OC before 3pm and we should really be as well. I do wish we could do more or take a more twisty route, but gotta be at the future in laws by a certain time.

In OC by 3pm should be no prob. If we hit traffic on rt1 we could jump to 13 and then to 113. I drove down to OC on memorial day and got there from new castle in 2 hours. I went to lewes(about 45 min from OC)the other day from Dover in about 45 minutes.
