Apparently two of my coworkers from the mag are going to the same track on the same day, so I now have transportation for the bike and myself.

I'm also taking the Ninja 300, not my 250.

I would be afraid of dumping a 300.

250 so you don't have to hold back!

Helmet Requirements

Does anybody know what the helmet rating requirements are for the track day?

I have a suomy vandal helmet which i love, It's DOT and SHARP rated.
However it does not have Snell or ECE rating on it.

Does track require SNell or ECE?

Have you changed the visor yet? It was a pain in the butt to change the visor on my Vandal.

Do you have to pay to get into the track if you're not going to bring a bike? My boyfriend wants to go with me to the track, but he doesn't have a bike.

Trackdaz doesn't inspect your gear so as long as its a full face helmet, no one is going to stop you.

I think its a $10 gate fee for everyone, rider or spectator.

Yeah the gate fee to get in (if you're riding with the track day or just watching) is $10-$20 per person depending on how long you're staying. You should definitely stay the weekend if you can and watch some races, they're so cool! If you want to see some really fast 250s @Rexbo and @Nemesis will be out there on Saturday kicking some butt as well as a bunch of other racers from Nor Cal and even Colorado that weekend!

They are going to Chuckwalla to test the 636 and some other bikes, so I'm pretty sure they're not in group C.
