I did it. i finally did it

Finally bought a go pro. sure i ride aggressively once in a while, but the main reason is to have one in case i get into an accident. Maybe i spent too much time on the internet but i've seen too many bad accidents on motos to not want to have one. especially when i may be suspect in being the cause or provocateur in an incident.

now i have to figure out how to mount this darn thing.

Speaking of cameras for insurance purposes.... I've always wondered if it's better or worse to have the speedometer in the camera's view.

I'd say it's definitely better to leave the speedo out of view.

so i mounted my gopro yesterday, waited 24 hours for the adhesive to set and go out for a morning test. went across a bridge to manhattan and got rear-ended by a cab. no damage except a broken turn signal. good thing i bought it for exactly this. now i have to figure out how to upload these things.

Y'know, that reminds me when I had non-water resistant keyboard for couple years I never spilled anything on it, but the next day after I bought keyboard with drainage I spilled a beer on it.

PS: which is also why I'm terrified of buying new car with ABS and other safety bells and whistles after my current one finally dies.
