Yes, just not sure which yet, I'll check the calendar when I get home and start working on it. Anyone have a preferable day in December?

Lakewood near Lakewood mall, I am moving to Torrance if my house ever sells.

I agree about the rain in dec and Jan but I don't want to wait till spring. I'll look to set something up for Jan after the holidays

I ride almost everyday here anyway... of course I recently moved here from MN... when you have experienced -50 deg. weather, your perception of cold or bad weather definitely changes...lol.

I agree though if it does end up raining a 2 hr ride for me to get up to you guys would've sucked at least a little...lol.

Well I'm in Los Alamitos so I'm not too far from you. Just PM and let me know when it is going to happen and I will try to make it.

I can ride on the freeways but not too far. Still a new rider so if I can get there via side streets I will.

I'm going to the track Saturday, so there's not a chance in hell that I'll have my bike street legal by Sunday. Have fun, guys. I'll try to catch the next one.

Tiff, who are you? LOL!

I see you on SCM but have you considered joining a race org and race with us Ninja250 racers? If you're thinking about joining try both WSMC and CVMA.

Come on out!

^If you've ever seen this chick at the track, that's me

I want to race really badly, but I'm still much too slow (I've only been tracking my bike for about 6 months now, and I only JUST got my knee down for the first time last month), so I'm sticking with just regular track days until I feel like I'm fast enough to be a contender. But it's definitely on my to do list for the next year or two.

I'm hitting Big Willow for the first time with TrackDaz this weekend though. YOOOOUU should come out

Can't say I've seen you. And that pic's a bit dark to tell. I'm gonna need some nude pics so I can get a clear idea who you are. Just kidding. Kinda. Sorta.

Anyhow, knee down just after six months of riding is 10x better than me. It took me over a year or two till I got my knee down but even now I rarely touch my knee.

I thought the same thing about racing: I'm too slow to be racing but it is true what they say about racing, "It makes you faster!" And doing trackdays can teach you only so much. But whenever you're comfortable and ready to race let us know. I'm hoping you'll join next year.

Have you done Chuckwalla yet? Now, that's an awesome track for the 250, I presume. I've only ridden that track on the 600 but judging by the flow/layout of the track it's perfect for the 250. It's like Buttonwillow + Big Willow + Streets of Willow combined.

Looking forward to doing a trackday/race witcha.

Hahaha, the real thing is MUCH better than the pictures. I'll save that for when we've met in person Haha, kidding kidding.... probably

Seriously though, I don't doubt racing'd make me faster. I ran in B at my last trackday because it was the only option for that day, and I ended up riding harder and faster than I ever thought I could in an effort to not slow everyone down. I rode in C the day after and suddenly I could pass a lot more people than usual. Good times. I figure I'll look into what all I need to do in order to race as soon as I can at least comfortably hang with B group. Hopefully you'll still be racing 250s by then >_<

And nope- I've only been to Streets and Fontucky so far. Chuckwalla is at the top of my list for next year (Still need to hit Buttonwillow, too, actually). It's 200 miles for me though, so I'm holding off until I can set aside an entire weekend for it. Hopefully the 250 won't feel too underpowered out there as it does on AAA Speedway and probably will on Big Willow.

I'm sure I'll run into you at the track one of these days. SCM being a forum of track junkies somehow compels me to get out there even more often than I already do

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get the 2011 out the door for? Is the White/Black considered a special edition?

Look on the bright side, we only get this every so often and we don't have to put our bikes up for winter.

Thats gotta be one of the most boring videos I've ever watched... he didn't even change lanes or turn until the end when he pulled into the parking lot. If that was my route to work I would find a different way to go.

Also, not sure where he got that you have to break the bike in all the way to 6,000 miles... a lot of people don't even keep their bike that long before trading it in for a bigger bike.

Any port in a storm, ya know? Us Los Angelenos have been staring at rivers of rain going down the streets and I'd get a motorcycle fix where I can take it!

I totally understand and agree... but that wasn't much of a "motivating video" if you ask me.

I've been dyin to ride too... Can't stand the rain and bad weather.

can you guys imagine how bad ass it would for a group ride? the sound of our ninjettes 20 strong. (well, maybe not that much) but imagine how nice it would be riding in the streets/freeway in formation. the sound, the site and the strength you feel amongst each other in a group. like a wolf pack. dang. that would be sweet. Hopefully all of us would really put their time and effort to make this happen. Yo Havok, where u at!?

can you guys imagine how bad ass it would for a group ride? the sound of our ninjettes 20 strong.

I am still here just waiting till after the new year to set it all up. A group ride would be bad ass. I am think baldy if it's not to cold (this is a good run for new people or for first canyon run) or a coastal cruise. I hope we can get a good turn out.

Let me know if there is a group ride, I'm in Pasadena but any gathering will do. Weather is bloody cold in Dec, Jan. so layer up instead of trying to look cool if one wants to enjoy the ride.
