SoCal Tech Day! 10/22 - Page 2

Well my house is open and I have a mini BBQ. Cazper is open and says he has one too?

Who else has a house we can open. lol

So far we have two locations.

I say we go for the usual 9am open time. 3pm done with work time so we can get a ride in before sunset and everyone can ride home with some daylight.

BBQ fire starts at noon?! Lunch at 12:30?!

Let's get a list of who's coming and what you are bringing!
No flakes please we are counting on you to bring this stuff.
Also add a note for location.

1)Ninja250 Tiny BBQ, bag of charcoal, 20 hotdogs and 20 buns. (open on location)

That should get us started. I like the BBQ idea so we don't have to leave the mess of bikes and put it all back together just to get lunch and tear down again!

did we get the date set yet also?

Let's call it a 10/22 BBQ Tech Day.

You guys have a month. Let's see some more entrants. =)

I'm definitely down... however, what I can provide will be different depending on where we decide to do it. If we end up doing it at my place I can provide Carne Asada... If I travel I would probably be able to provide hamburgers? (Carne Asada isn't going to fit in the tank bag or backpack

Bikes fine, frame slider saved all of it and my rearset peg got ****ed. All in all a cheap crash

I will be there. As far as what to bring, i can either do the condiments that we will need, or side dishes (mac salad, potato salad) or both. I am open for location and ill have to pick up the stuff when i get to where ever we are having it at as no matter where we do it its like a 2 hour ride for me lol.

I think all i have coming up is an oil change so i can do the grilling if people need stuff done to there bikes.

I could probably make it. I'll be getting the weekend prior off from work so they might glare at me for taking so much time off... I'll see. I don't know where KC is at but I'm assuming he's closer to me (hermosa beach) than Dustin is...

Small suggestion. Feel free to say F*CK OFF.

Since we're all on bikes and the stuff we can carry is extremely limited,
Why don't we make it so that the host buys the stuff and we pay him back?
And since he's nice enough to host and spent time to buy the stuff, we cover his part too.

I dunno. Just a thought.

And yeah, count me in. I'll think of what to bring besides my awesome character.

If the tech day ends up being at my place then Gurk can stay home because he thinks it's funny and sounds good to kill me for my bike and point out I don't know how to ride.

Perhaps it would be better if it were somewhere else.

I'll agree with ya I don't know how to ride but mess with my bike you's out. Not even funny. Two strikes is enough.

I think I'd like to come by, even if it's just say HI. My Ninja's only at 300mi so doesn't need much yet. I did do an oil change at 200 and put on frame sliders. But I'd love to meet ya all
