----------------- Superpole 1 Johnny Rea set an early quick lap, 1'36.054 one of the fastest laps of the weekend so far. He led the first session from Jakub Smrz and Ben Spies and Troy Corser. Ryuichi Kiyonari looked like being knocked out, but the Honda man put in a couple of fast laps to lift himself out of the danger zone. Gregorio Lavilla looked like saving himself from being knocked out, but fast laps by Ruben Xaus and Shane Byrne pushed him out of Superpole.
