Can we move the talk about the "performance" chip to a separate thread? It might get ugly...

They are preying on the mechanically ignorant. This reminds me of the electrical "blowers" (bilge pumps), and those vortex fins "torrnado" thingies... ebay is becomeing like craigs list in certain catagories.

To bad you can't still get a kidney there

"May increase" your performance. I wonder if that means the bike's performance or your personal. Kelly, you may want to look into this!

Looks like snake oil is back in vogue.

no need to... my bike is green so it's the fastest of all the 250s already. If my bike were black, I'd look into getting 2.

if the OP has an EFI bike, a chip might help... at least he would have somehwere to plug it in, anyway.

So I guess this chip which fools the engine into thinking is cold, is pretty much useless.

Since this bike has no electronic brain to control the spark timing, for fuel management the answer would be a that it is useless on this bike.

I like how they show a dyno chart, but it is unreadable and covered by another window. Looks like another FAANtastic product.

I hope you keep the 250, there is nothing like it in the twisties that I have tried, the 650 should be cool, but not as much fun IMO.

I installed one on each wheel and a chip on my crankshaft.

The wheels spin faster and the crank torques harder.

srsly
