Josh, how'd you get video of me? That's exactly how I dropped my bike the first (and only, God willing) time!

She said that it's exactly how she dropped hers. She was joking about it being a video of her.

If anyone really wants to learn bike control, get a trials bike and practice on that.

lol... I was just about to post some trials videos last night in this thread, but thought about it and decided not to. Yes, top, world level trials riders work magic on their bikes.

...and I'm doing exactly as you say and bought a trials bike about 6 months ago to learn bike control. It's amazing what you can learn while riding so slow!

Yup, guilty as charged! Except for the fact that it happened in front of my own driveway, that video could be me.

It's a funny story, really. I hadn't had the bike all that long, and was practicing riding around my neighborhood. I was turning into my driveway at a whopping 5mph, and the bike just went down, boom. I stayed standing, but I couldn't hold it up. Anyway, my neighbor's son was turning the corner at the end of the block and saw it happen. He's a nice kid, but he and his friends are constantly teasing me about my bike, and have since I got it. At any rate, he pulled up and helped me get the bike up and out of the street. He told me that when he saw the fall, he thought to himself, "Please don't let that be Debbi". It was.

That little episode bitched up my exhaust pipe some, but that's the "idiot tax", I guess.
