Want to know: Stock turn signal type? Wattage? Socket type? Similar?
See title.
Oh, and are they the same from the previous to current-gen? |

Voltage is nominally 12V though packaging and specs often quote 13 or 14 volts. It doesn't matter. The voltage of just the battery is 12, but when the motor's running the alternator puts out 13-14 volts to keep the battery charged properly.
The 2006-2007 bikes used R10W bulbs for the turn signals which where 10W and a single contact bayonet base. Older gens used an 1156 IIRC, it's ~27 watts. You'll see some confusion on watt ratings, with the same bulb rated different watts on different sites. The reason is that watts is the result of volts times amps, so a 2.1 amp bulb at 12V uses 25.2 watts, and the same bulb at 14 volts uses 29.4 watts. Don't worry about it... |
