Did a fender delete. Made some custom 45.ACP valve stem caps from a 1911 I fired recently.

Installed the Apex SS Brake lines from the group buy.

Retrofitted a pair of Gsxr mirrors onto the stock mirror bases. will be painting them satin black down the road.

Bought a large Nelson RIg Tank Bag.

Installed some carbon vinyl wrap on the tank. (experimenting)

Installed the SS brake lines from the group buy. Hopefully I bled the brakes sufficiently. I have run out of time for this weekend so I'll have to test it out next weekend.

Broke in my new tire and brakes by cruising around the Sierras, found some epic roads between Sutter Creek and Mormon Emigrant Trail - and almost came face to grill with a family van who thought they were suddenly in England. Get outta my lane ya moron! Grrr

Finally spent the 5 minutes needed to swap out the brake pads with Vesrah pads, so much more bite.

Ordered OEM tinted front turn signal housings.

Pieced together a complete GSXR shock swap, debating on this or something more...

his bike looks better than mine waaaahhhhhhH!!!
Mine's starting to show its age from dirt and scratches and nicks and whatnot. I really ought to be more careful with it than I am, but meh. I wasn't even upset when my dad dumped it in the trailer after track day when we were unloading. Boy have I changed since I got that bike.

At least we have the same tires...

Thanks Jason!

Chris your pre gen is by far my favorite and eventually I want to do many of the mods you have done but I also dont want to be a copy cat but imitation is the sincerest form of flatery. I really want to get the Muzzy but I just dont know if its really worth the price?

Spent day 1 of my vacation with the ninja. Got her naked and went over everything.

Redid some safety wire and other little touch ups.

Some fun with what was left in the rattlecan

No worries, it's not showing it's age. It's developing character from being ridden!

And don't follow in my footsteps, I have damaged my bikes more hauling them to the track than anything else.

My baby got a new set of Perelli Diablo Roso II tires and woah, what a wolds worth of difference. The ride is so much better. Then again, I've been riding on bad tires for a while now.

But at the shop her rear breaks broke some how and no pressure is going to the lever. :-\ They're going to fix it next friday. Now if I ride, I have to fully rely on the front break. *sigh*

I installed some 2 1/8 in. Aluminum spacers to the front forks to add some preload...really sick of the dive. Temp fix till I can get some gold valves and Race Tech springs. Also put my Pannier bags back on.

How temporary is temporary? Preload isn't the way to go about solving that.

Month or two. I'm going to go with heavier weight oil as well. Easy to take spacers out if I don't like the feel of it. I certainly miss the suspension adjustability of my Motocross bikes!

Took some slack out of my chain today, Not 100% sure I got the alignment down pat. The Marks don't line up perfect, but I measured using a straight edge along the back wheel, measuring to the lowing links, left and right sides measured within 2mm of each other. I called it close enough?

Steel front brake line and new pads installed! That was fun... bleeding brakes without a vac or forced injection pump but it's done. New spark plugs in too.

Realized the idle speed is way too high, good thing the seller included the Haynes manual. Looks like a real easy adjustment. Also became much more comfortable with the bike in traffic.

Adjusted the chain cuz it had about 15mm of slack ! Did some spirited riding after and it felt sooooooo gooooooood

EDIT: Also adjusted the slack for the clutch cable..that made a difference too

Put in cables on the 250 to run both cameras all the time and put in a switch for the 12v socket. Tested the brake line replacement and bleeding I did last weekend. I decided to go on that test ride in just helmet and 3/4 boots. Did not enjoy that.

Also began tearing apart the 300 (finally). I really have no idea what I'm doing and putting this **** back together later is going to be a struggle.

I just did that too since I rejected and went back to carbs. There's something to be said for the simplicity of carbs. If you think adjusting a carb is hard, try tuning an fuel injection setup and having to understand what every sensor does and how a start on one day varies from a start on another day and why.

You may not like the carbs now, but since you've worked on them, you already know more about how your engine runs than most

Cleaned it, because I want to get rid of it, becuase I hate it

Just not enough power or storage or range or comfort to cope with the touring I plan on doing.

Getting a pan european or something.

Got a few things planned today:

Rewrite the power port, add in a splitter, mount the GPS better, and circle the block enough times to roll over to 20k on the clock.

Oh, no, I took it somewhere to be done for me.

I've seen carbs on a different bike and get the concept and everything but those carbs were out because they were ****ed up when someone tried to do something themselves on them!

>.<

With my bike my only vehicle I can't afford my own mistakes.

Got two power ports installed under the windscreen (which is a mess due to the GPS cord, but I have a GPS now!)

But cooler than that, I witnessed this! (while just exiting a corner with no shoulder to speak of to pull over within 528ft...)

Rode around looking for the Ducati dealer, they closed. Had wings an a cool drink. Rode more on 295 and crossed "the" bridge, yea that bridge, I'm not terrified of it anymore, but I still don't like it or interstates when they are crazy windy, ill take the back way!!!

Scored a new DID ERV3 on the cheap so I decided to order some Superlite sprockets. Going up to 15T in the front and keeping the stock 45T in the rear. Come this weekend, the 250R will be back on the road (assuming the battery hasn't died).

nice work.
I'm still tempted to make a permanent solution by drilling holes in the gauge plate along side the Koso and hardwiring the 12volt plugs in. But... if this works, I may just leave it alone. Ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

Checked over the bike since the couple of spills at the track. Forks are slightly twisted, missing quite a few nuts and bolts for the fairings and junk, I have an exhaust leak at the exhaust header. Readjusted my tweaked rearsets, replaced all the bent boots on the rearsets. Need to get some SS brake lines, fork springs and installs emulators.
