Roland Sands Design Reveals New 2016 Apparel

The folks at Roland Sands invited us to join them for their 2016 apparel line up release party. We got to see some awesome custom bikes , mingle with industry pals, and see the RSD shop in all its glory, including some really nice new gear for this year. Here are a few items we wanted to take home:

RSD Zuma Jacket Front

The new Roland Sands Zuma jacket comes in Black and Timber, available in men's sizes S-3XL, for $750.

The Zuma leather jacket is made of top grain “Oily Buffalo” leather (yes, real buffalo). With an RSD race hump, pre-curved sleeves, dropped back, relaxed collar opening and stretch nylon sleeve inserts, the Zuma is styled for more aggressive riding. Zippers at the cuff and pockets keep things contained, while adjustable waist tabs keep the rider cinched in. SAS-TEC CE certified Level 2 shoulder and elbow armor, and foam back protector are included for added safety. RSD logo in low contrast stitching across the chest, and embossment on the shoulders, add to the jacket’s style. Available in black and Timber in men’s sizes S – 3XL, for $750.

The new Roland Sands Zuma jacket offers a speed hump and RSD stitching and embossed branding.

The Clash Black Ops jacket borrows name from last season’s Clash jacket, with a few upgrades. The Black Ops is cut from RSD Combat leather, a hand finished oiled and waxed top grain cowhide. Quilted styling at shoulders and back give a classic retro look. Shorty snap relaxed collar, pre-curved sleeves, and dropped back length provide comfort on and off the bike. Shoulder, elbow, and back armor is optional, while elbows are reinforced with rivets. The most striking accent of the Clash Black Ops jacket are the water-repellent YKK zippers, giving the jacket an extra aggressive technical aesthetic. The Clash Black Ops jacket comes in men’s sizes S – 3XL, and one color: black. Price: $750.

The Sentinal jacket is RSD’s adventure jacket, made of Cordura nyslon shell with waterproof breathable protection andDuPont Teflon DWR finish. Leather cowhide accents are protected with 3M Scotchguard treatment. YKK water repellent pocket and vent zippers and a 3-layer weather-resisstant, 100 percent polyester softshell removable liner make the Sentinel a comfortable option during inclement weather. SAS-TEC CE certified level 2 shoulder and elbow armor, along with foam back protector, come standard with the jacket. Back “fanny pack” pockets and 360 degree feflective details make this adventure jacket a respectable addition to any rider’s wardrobe. Available in men’s sizes S-3XL, the Sentinel comes in an Anthractie/Black color scheme, and retails for $750.
