This will make the second time.

Finally have a friend in the area and my sister lives there. She's moving soon, so I'll be visiting again in May after graduation, most likely.

I will be there around that time, But likely in April. It all depends on when I have to go to camp pendleton.

If I can remember your username I will, but I will likely just have to post in general. I do look forward to riding with a fellow ninjetter though. I plan to hit up 129 and cherohala skyway, maybe I will learn some new roads?

Just check yours friends on here, i accepted your request haha. I dont like the skyway because for it to be truly fun you have to have a pretty high pace, the reward is just not worth the risk. 129 however still carries a descent risk but can still be huge fun without ever going over like "50"....

Cant wait to meet some of you guys.

I don't think the skyway is going to be very fun on the Ninjette, but It will be if I can borrow my dads Ducati. I hope to have fun on the dragon starting off slow and working my way up, I don't plan on going over 55 on the dragon.

I will get my suspension rough tuned her in IN, but I'm sure I will have adjustments to make while I'm there.

Ill be very very slow now, i have to relearn a completely new bike now... so much has been changed at once i have no idea what its gonna make it feel like. I know that this will make it a little more difficult to know what item caused what change in feel but ill take my time to get it all settled to my liking. Love hearing out of towner saying that they will ride slow to get comfortable! hate seeing someone that doesnt know the road trying to ride hard.

She Lives!!!

So much stress has been relieved! THis is the first time that i have ever done a tear down like this and she started up pretty easily. I still have a ton of little stuff to do but what i was worried about is over... Just hope there arent any flat spots higher in the rpms. I cant wait to get to actually ride her soon!

So update... She runs! Took her out on the dragon on Sunday. Have a small flat spot from 7.5-9k but i think that ill be able to sort that out with some needle shims. The new suspension feels amazing compared to what it used too.

So we trailered the bike up there and unloaded it, rode about half way through with no issues. Pulled off to help my buddy setup his camera spot, then went to cruise the rest of the road for my first pass. Made it about two corners in and then it died. Pulled off and started her back up but would die as soon as i put in in gear. Knew it had something to do with my clutch switch delete. So pulled the tank and made the repair and was on my way again. So i removed the switch and just connected the wires.. I still cannot start my bike in gear, not sure whats going on here.

So i went to make my first pass with a little bit of speed, nothing close to normal pace as i was still getting a feel for the new bike.. and i made a mistake Came in a little hot into "2 Square" and there was a truck going the opposite way, i got a little rattled and attempted to trail brake pretty heavily. The old suspension was pretty forgiving of this but the new setup is not. Asked too much of the front and down i went, about 40ish mph i would guess. Slid across the other lane and stopped in a well placed pull off. I am unharmed, except a bruise on my elbow and ego. Bike was pretty much fine also, i twisted my right clip on on the fork tube and knocked my banjo bolt out of my M/C. Went to the store and got some brake fluid and got everything back lined up.

So took the bike out and made sure that everything was in order and then started making a couple runs. Didn't take me very ling to get my groove back. The pic below is actually the same corner i went down in but i was going the other way.

Looks like ill be changing stuff around to make the bike WERA legal since i cant hang with the fast guys on the 300s. They pull on me on the straights an the corners... Onto reading and understanding how wera works.
