little intro

greetings from Central NY.
Currently a Victory owner, but my oldest son started harassing me now that he is 16 to get his motorcycle license..
what to do, what to do?

long story short, found myself with a freebie Ninja 250.... been down as it was a guys g/f's learner so it needs quite a bit of love...

buuuuuuuuuuuut since i am Zombie fan, what a better way to resurrect a bike that would have been destined for a scrap heap? thats right, freebie bike + cafe kit from Blue Collar Bobbers = great first bike for the kid to learn and with a shade of luck, pass down to his brother in 3-4 years...

not overly familiar with what fits from new 250's to old 250's but thats why i am here... well that and seeing if i can find some misc parts here and there. lol

tonite she goes up on the jack to remove the wheels so we can pull wheels in order to remove the front fender and clean up the swingarm and pull both calipers... they are in pretty sad shape so replacement is in order if we can't free them up by soaking them...

new rearsets are on the way as well courtesy of ebay.
should be on by next weekend... this weekend there won't be much action on the little ninja as its Run of the Dead and my oldest and I are going to try not to become zombies on the mud/obstacle course.
sunday will be recovery day as this old guy needs a little more recoup time than the kid. lol!
