After I did my writeup on the exhaust a local sponsor setup a promo code I posted through my personal site for others to use. $319 shipped... use promo code: racingorder http://www.aftermarketcycles.com/tyg...ninja-250.html I'm not a vendor, just a private party who did a non-biased review on the exhaust. I'm not affiliated with TYGA either. |

This exhaust system looks great! I have a few questions though.
Are the headers the same length? What's the header's internal diameter? What is the mid-pipe's final diameter before the muffler/silencer? The o2 sensor bung comes with a cap, right? I really like this exhaust, and I'm also really liking the price! Soon, soon...

BTW i found a video on you-tube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tUeTh26uP8 The bike is from my neighboring state (in India) but the video is recorded inside a garage. Looking for a better clip and I'm not worried about the sound. We have no issues with loud cans here. @TygaUSA - Please let me know if you ship to India and what are the shipping charges? How many days (approx.) for it to reach here? Please also post a fly by video with sound. I want to hear the bike at idle and at high revv's too. Thanks. |

Any news on the measurements Glenn? Basically I already have an end can I want to use if its the same size diameters. Also can the mid pipe be used with the stock headers?

Was just out working on this one - she runs! Fairings and tank were rattle-canned by someone - but I can fix that. Need to get the gas cap off the tank as the key I have doesn't fit it - but I rode her around the block using the old water-bottle mini-gas tank trick. Cool Ninja. Thinking a few mods and keeping her as my commuter (wait, I have several already, but - why not?).
Down to two exhaust systems.

Installed my full Tyga race system a while back without jetting. The bike did not run right. I only ran it in the driveway as it would barely rev past 8K and then with feathering the throttle. It was wishful thinking on my part that I could get away with just removing the snorkel. I went ahead and installed a Dyno Jet stage 2 kit and set it up per instructions. The bike ran pretty damn good when I rode it in my neighborhood . I'm sure there is some fine tuning that can be done on the dyno but I think that can wait for now. Want to give props to Tyga and say I'm really happy with my purchase. This is a really good quality, awesome looking exhaust for a good price.

help?
i just bought the "SILENCER, STAINLESS, FOUR STROKE, 86MM, NO FITTINGS" silencer from tyga before it sold out and it came today. I took it to the shop to install because i injured my wrist, and they said that the muffler doesn't fit my 2008 ninja kawasaki ex250. my mechanic measured the diameter at ~38mm, while the description says its ~35mm. i have pictures if needed, im just confused? did i forget to buy an extra part or something?

That? It says it's a replacement part and does not come with clamps or mounting hardware, and "no fittings" is self-explanatory |

yeah, that. i understand that it is a replacement part, but i was under the impression that i can replace my stock muffler with this? is this false? because i tried, but the measurement was a 38mm, when the description states that it is a 35.4mm

No. At the bottom, it says it's for low capacity hondas. You should have sorted by make/model, then you would see exactly what fits the ninja 250, seen here:
http://tyga-performance.com/site/ind...2_1045_791_859 edit: That silencer, I believe, is if you already have a Tyga full exhaust. You need to get a slip-on if you have the stock exhaust. |
