Swap soft rear spring on GSXR600 shock (ZZR)

Hi again, everybody.
I have a technical query, to finish my ZZr250.

I have installed a 2007 GSXR600 shock absorber, but the spring is too hard for me (only 65kg weight.)
My question is, if you can install a spring of another GSXR of another year and another displacement, with a softer spring.
I do not want to buy a new rear dock.
I read that the rear spring of GSXR1000 05-06 fits ... Can any other model be put on?
I need a rear spring between 7.8 and 8.1kg.

Just browsing some eBay pics, it looks like the '06-'07 ones have the reservoir sticking pretty much straight out, like the '08-'09 ones, as pictured in the first post. The '04-'05 and '01-'03 ones both have it angling up quite a bit.

Hello Z1R, thanks for replying.
I see in that table of Race Tech, that the hardness of the springs is different, but I can not stress that another spring (of another GSXR) will adapt to my shock absorber GSXR 600 07.

Looking at this image, and because of my weight, I need the rear spring of a GSXR 600 01-03, of a GSXR 1000 05-06 or of an SV1000 03-07.
My question is ... can these springs be mounted directly on my gsxr600 07 shock absorber?
Do the measures match?
Length, internal diameter and external diameter?
Somebody made it?

I don't have any experience with swapping out the springs from one year to the next, but would guess that they will interchange. On the chart it shows different lengths but only 3-4 mm, I'd think you could make up that little bit with the preload adjustment. I have the stiffest GSXR-600 spring (2008 & 2009) on all of mine (1999-2000-2002 250's) two of them are stock weight (or very close) , the one I track the most weights in at 300 lbs. and I'm at 185 geared up. Even on the light one I would not say that the spring is "stiff", have you checked the sag? I wonder if maybe the compression damping is set to stiff, that will make it seem over sprung, like you'd feel every little bump and crack in the road because the suspension can't react quickly enough.

my shock was adjusted all the way stiff when i bought it used. i forgot to check that, being used to the old ninja shock. and on the first ride i was thinking my linkage was bound up. felt like i was riding a hardtail... fiddled with the adjustments a couple times and it feels worlds better now. might want to check the adjustments before going through the trouble of finding another spring, might solve your problem.

yes, start with all damping adjustments at full-soft.

you can buy any spring you want, hypercoil, eibach are good ones,
just need a few measurements.

2, eibach spring $125
3 service and respring $200
total $355

Hello again.
Thank you all for the answers and apologies for not having answered before.
I tried to adjust the rear shock absorber, but I have not gotten it to work properly (just 5 mm low with me on top), so I look for an alternative spring.
I do not want to buy a new rear dock, if I wanted to buy it I would not have asked you, but thanks for your help.
The links I think are not the same and the dog bones were made to measure.
Has anyone changed their rear dock for another one from another GSXR for another year?
