Ninja 250 passes Gixxer 1000 on twisties
Not that it was a race, but anyone can see that in her natural element - the twisties - our Ninjette has no problem keeping up with her bigger cousins.

It’s true that on the technical stuff the 250R is more than a match for the bigger heaver bikes. Although in the video there are some sections of road where the two big bikes did not use their extra power and leave you way behind

These are not the tightest twisties I've seen or even ridden. I'd say the tighter, the more advantageous for the Ninjette relative to the biggies. |

Those corners weren't tight enough to slow the other bikes down to the 250's pace. Just looks like they weren't very confident/skilled or just felt like puttin along. Good thing too, as their gear wasn't up to ninjette specs

I wonder if the Gixxer rider even realized that it was a 250 that he allowed to pass him. |

Yes, it's no secret, raw engine power doesn't equate to cornering ability. I've seen an old lady on a Vespa keep up with my 250 before.

Some people have allot of luck. Going into on coming traffic on what looks to be a blind corner. It's like when theres a pursuit on cops, some of these peeps running thru lights, blowing stop signs. I take something for granted, and always get screwed.....

There was no going into on coming traffic on a blind corner in this video. Looked like a safe pass to me. |

There wasn't any traffic, but there was definitely a point when the camera was WAY into the oncoming lane. Turn wasn't completely blind, but the other bike was in the way of the view. When the pass actually ocurred, it was safe because both bikes were in the same lane, but just before it the 250 did go into the wrong lane. Lucky someone wasn't coming around the corner in some kind of hummer or something. I wonder how cool that would've looked in the camera.

nice vid I do this all the time I go on rides and every one has a 600cc or more and by the end of the ride I have them following behind me. but this is due to riding on such tight roads
