Never use fuel tank linear, and there is a nut on the clutch lever bolt...

yeah.... so the ninja i ride came with a NASTY fuel tnak, so i removed the rust, adn use some of the KREME or POR15 type tank linear to stop the rust....

well it is great for stoping rust on the tank walls, but if your fuel has as much as 5- 10% Ethonal, it also disolves the the linear and turnes the gass into a milky crude that does NOT burn well :\ so if the bike sits long enough to need the tank linear to stop rust, the fuel will be total screwed (btw i have used fuel stablizer, doesnt help... i think it might make things worse...)

DONT DO IT!

secondly...

there is a nut on the clutch lever bolt.... as well as being threaded into the mount...

broke the ball of clutch lever long ago, and got a new lever. went to install it today (need balls for track day ) go to remove bolt.... and SNAP....

*look* oh **** look at that! theres a nut on it

then i procede to break the limit switch!

thank goodness i have a spare parts bike i can grab the parts i need.

just rember when working on your bike, look whats on the other side, and dont be a dork
