Have you had any luck with your local newspaper or trade in at the dealer?

I didn't put it in the newspaper, but I put it on Craigslist. I've had several people text, call, and email me from the CL add, and two people agree on a price and then flake later. It's really starting to get frustrating. I would use it as a trade-in, but I can't get financing for anything as I'm only 18 and haven't had a credit card for more than 4 months. I don't even show up on the credit registry yet. I can't get a cosigner either, because they only allow parents as cosigners and mine won't. That, and I still barely make anything at all at my job, so they probably wouldn't finance me based on my low income.

Man these ninjas are hard to sell. You basically have to give them away or take a huge cut on them. I have advertised on craigslist mostly get a lot of spam, and people who want to trade for junk.

2k is reasonable. That is what I paid for the same year. Granted that was a year ago, but should still hold value.

The guy I purchased it from said it was on sale for several months before I came along. Patience is the key.
