I sure but for my needs and the idea that it only needs to be protective in the case of an incident to protect me from road rash mainly and spinal damage I think thats a little overkill. Purdy sure it only lasts one incident like everything else (depends on saverity) and I am not exactly a track racer. Haven't got that far yet.

no, it would last 4 or 5 crashes. mine has been in 3 and has no real visible damage

there are massive differences in quality of gear. one piece would do a ****** job and be destroyed afterward. the other does an amazing job and doesn't even look damaged afterward.

Little update, after a full season under my belt, the bike has gotten a new paint job and I currently have some new turn signals on there way. Should arrive today. I will post some pics then of them for your thoughts. Also from re-reading this thread there was a bunch of you that said your around me, perhaps we can start setting up some meets for the season.

Attached are the pics of the lights that will be added, they are Oxford Neptune. They look promising, just have to get down to my bike and install them. Also have new tires to put on and then finish off the winter project before bringing it up to NY for inspection.

So it has been 5 years on this bike. Time has come to get it a brother and perhaps turn this one into a track bike. Have my eyes open for a Triumph 675 or a Ducati 848, now to find a location that likes taking people's money lol.

@adouglas

Always being helpful.

I will probably take the winter to strip the 250 down and get prepped for next year, guess it depends how soon I can pick up big brother. I have been to NYST and might have some days saved from helping at the corners but will have to see if they are still on record. Otherwise I will start trading days to keep the cost down and get more days in.
