Question Engine work at 10,000 miles

I have a 2004 Ninja 250 that has been sitting for over two years. I am about to CafeŽit with a Blue Collar Bobber kit. I have it apart and currently changing the oil, replacing the air filter with a K&N, replacing all fuel lines, bleeding the brakes, replacing clutch fluid, cleaning the carbs, replacing the chain, replacing front sprocket with a 16T and cleaning the crap out of the bike. It has a little over 10,000 mile on it. Any suggestions on what I should do with the engine, if anything? Is there maintenance that needs or should be done? Thanks in advance!

If you're going to the trouble of the front sprocket and chain, i'd add $20 and buy a rear sprocket too. Flush the radiator fluid. Check brake pads over and replace as needed. Valve clearance check is probably the only in motor thing to check, at least for now. New plugs probably wouldn't hurt if you're going that far. You can skip the clutch fluid as it's cable operated. That should get you pretty well squared up with what you plan below.

Sounds like you've got a pretty good handle on the situation, but look thorough this section for more ideas and tips - https://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Ninja250_Howto
