Hi I'm Ronnie. I'm new to the boards. I currently own an 05 ninja 250. My nephew got into a wreck and after the bike Sat a year he gave it too me. It was mostly cosmetic. I've put a new front tire and front brakes aswell as changed oil. I need a new rear tire, brakes, a chain and sprockets. Id love to find upper and lower fairings but have had no luck. I love this little 250. Zippy and handles well. Any ideas throw em my way. I love there is a site just for us. Thanks

You said about getting fairings, is there a reason you wouldn't want to go with street fighter look and keeping it naked?

Not really. I like it naked like that but don't really know what to do with turn signals (front). I could eliminate them. I'm not a huge fan of the o5 fairing look anyhow. Just was wondering if someone had some. Wanted to know price. Maybe see if there are any aftermarket fairings. To be honest going naked is probably the way it will stay. There are a few things I'd have to cut off or streamline to make it look right. I'm going to buy a ninja 600 soon aswell but I'm keeping my 250. Too much fun

Welcome!

There are a lot of options with the front turn signals. When we took the fairing off my daughters bike as she was just learning to ride I just drilled a couple holes in the headlight mounting frame, pulled the existing turn signals out of the rubber mounts and bolted them on.

There are also options of LED or aftermarket turn signals that mount on the forks.
