2009 VS 2010 red color differences??!!

HELP! I just purchased a 2009 red tail section for my bright red 2010 ninja 250. They are both the same shade of red at a glance, so I didn't think that they may be different and possibly won't match??

Sunbeam!=Passion

I believe 2008 = 2010 but != 2009

2010 SE red is also different. Perhaps you could trade with someone who made the same mistake? IOW, if someone bought an '08 or '10 red fairing for their '09 red bike, you might be able to trade them.

So is this a "no Returns" situation ??

The paint is different on the 2009 and 2010 models... i believe the 2009 has a more orange tint to it...

Luckily I had a very understanding seller who was more than happy to refund my payment. But I have done further research and yes, the 2008 and 2010 are passion red, while the 2009 is sunbeam red. Thanks guys!
