Thumbs up "Victory in the Valley" - Sunday, June 29, 2014

Found a ride going on in my area, with a sweet little bonus

Sunday, June 29, 2014- "Victory in the Valley" - Sponsored by Victory Junction, Pocono Raceway, RS Snyder Enterprises. The ride starts at Starlite Diner, 100 South in Fogelsville. Registration is from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and the motorcycles leave at 10:00 am. The fee if pre-registered by June 20th is $15.00 per person. After that date the fee is $20.00 per person. The fee includes laps around Pocono Raceway. For more information call...

This raceway happens to be the one @Jiggles found for me to go do trackdays (which are really effing expensive by the way)

It benefits Cystic Fybrosis, which is bad, mmkay?

Opinions ladies and fellas? Never done something like this before.

could be ok if that is what you are looking for ride wise.

Not to come off as an A-hole and bust on a cause but anything that simply "benefits (insert disease, disorder ect... here)" or "benefits ____ research/awareness" is most likely a waste IMO. If money went to people with condition or to pay off their bills ect... awesome but who knows what happens to it, better off finding private benefits IMO. Ask the people working there what the money and more importantly what % goes to what. You might be surprised, that or they just feed you a line of BS.

Plus why should you donate to "research" do you know how much of your tax money gets "donated" to research every year? If you only saw how the government research spends/wastes that money.

Ended up not going. Per a suggestion by someone on the forum @adouglas I believe. I run a strict "8 hour bottle to throttle minimum" Coincidentally, the ride started at 10AM which means that I would've had to stop drinking at 2...
